Talk to us
One address, read by a person. We are small and that is the whole answer.
You own or manage a building here
A card is built from New York City's own public records, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to approve. Two things we can do today:
- Tell us a record is wrong. Use “Report an error” on the record’s own page — it reaches us with the building and the record already attached, which is faster than an email. Where the city's record is wrong, correcting it with the agency is what changes the card; we refresh from the source.
- Ask us to look at your building with you. We are doing this by hand for a small number of buildings before building anything, and we would rather hear what you actually need than guess.
What we cannot do: change, soften or remove what the records say. That is the whole reason a card is worth reading.
You are a renter, a buyer, or just curious
Reading cards is free and needs no account. If a card is wrong, “Report an error” on the record’s page or at the bottom of the building’s page is the fastest route.
If you rent, you can ask to join the pilot of apartment records: a private, dated record of your apartment for move-in, move-out and repairs. For anything else:
Something is broken
A page that will not load, a link that goes nowhere, a number that cannot be right — that is a bug report, and it is more useful to us than you would think.
